I really wish I had some pictures of many different types of soldiers in action at their jobs to show you, but these pictures of Josh's homecoming after 15 months in Iraq will do just fine today.
Today, no matter what your political stance or view on our great nation, take some time to remember what our soldiers, present and past, have done for you today. Think of the freedoms we have and how we got them and got to keep them. Remember how much these men and women sacrifice for us to retain these freedoms to live wherever we want, say whatever we want, do pretty much whatever we want. I could fill a book when I think of what these soldiers have had to give up.
Remember not only the soldiers who have fought in wars overseas, but also our soldiers who stay right here in the USA to protect our country everyday. I think we sometimes forget those that stay here at home, but go to work every single day in order to support our soldiers "over there" and keep us safe at home. They work hard and sacrifice right here at home too.
Take none of your freedoms for granted and Remember to thank and pray for our soldiers, past and present, today.
